A Free Community Celebration of AAPI Heritage
Asian American and Pacific Islander (AAPI) Heritage Month is an annual celebration of the culture, traditions, and history of Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders in the United States. By bringing together individuals from diverse backgrounds, we can foster a sense of belonging.
Cultural Performances
Showcase traditional dances, music, and martial arts from various AAPI cultures.
Food and Art
Offer a variety of AAPI cuisine and art displays, including calligraphy, painting, and photography.
Connect attendees with local community organizations and support services.
Community Resource Fair
Cultural Exchange Activities
Organize interactive activities like cultural games and cooking demonstrations.

We will be raffling baskets filled with local goodies, cultural items, and more during the event. Proceeds support AAPI initiatives and scholarships. Purchase your raffle tickets at the event and take home something special while giving back!

Scholarship Application Details:
In 500 words or more, explain why you think it is important to celebrate your Asian culture. In your response, tell us a little bit about yourself and include an experience that shaped your appreciation for your culture.
Two winners will be selected to receive $500!
To qualify, students must be Asian American or Pacific Islander based in Oneida County. Juniors and seniors in high school and current college students of any grade are encouraged to apply. Winner must be present for the award presentation during the event.
